On August 23, 2009, True Blood has established an all time record of 5.3M watchers, with an overall weekly second season average of 11.5m viewers (this included replays and repeat views).

In this Season 2 Episode 12, Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch. Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials.
